Strengthen our overall PNA communications both internally and externally so that communications best meet organizational goals, values and purpose
Activities
- Hire a part-time Communications Coordinator (CC) who would work under the direction of the PNA Executive and National Board and would be responsible for coordinating Association communications both internally and externally. Position to be evaluated after a six-month trial.
- Create a Communications Advisory Board (CAB) – the CAB would assist the Communications Coordinator in developing an overall PNA communications Policy and a Strategy, as well as help in the generation and gathering of material for both Contact and the PNA website – cbcpensioners.ca.
- With the assistance of the CAB and CC consider the role of social media for the PNA i.e.: should the PNA participate more fully in social media, if so, which platforms should the PNA engage in?
- Participate and contribute to the retiree survey in order to gather and understand information specific to Communications.
